As all of you are aware, Dot Com (.com) in a URL refers to a Commercial Site or Domain. Why in the 1st place Doshinkan Goju Ryu Karate-do Club (Singapore) chooses a Dot Com instead of a Dot Org (.org)?
The answer: As Doshinkan Goju Ryu Karate-do Club (Singapore) is a non-profit organisation, by right, the registration of URL should be parked under the Dot Org (.org) category. But due to fund restrain, we'd have no choice but to search for free site, e.g Freeservers.com and parked our site here. These sites normally do not offers free service to Dot Org categories. We therefore have no choice but to use the Dot. Com instead of Dot Org.
We are actively searching for sponsor and though active funding, we hope that one day, Doshinkan Goju Ryu Karate-do Club (Singapore) will have his very own Web that has a surfixed of Dot. Org.
